Project Description
With the residential growth in Liberty and Concord Townships, traffic on Home Road has reached nearly 10,000 vehicles per day. The intersection at State Route 257 suffers severe congestion through various parts of the day. In addition, there are no pedestrian walkways or bike facilities to allow pedestrians or recreational cyclists to get across State Route 257 to existing facilities over the Home Road bridge, and the Concord Park farther west.20 year planning horizon.
Project Location:
The project is located on Home Road at the intersections of State Route 257 and at Section Line Road in Concord Township.
Project Scope:
The project will construct a pair of two-lane modern roundabouts; one at the intersection of Home and State Route 257, and the other at Home and Section Line Road. A shared use path will also be provided from the Home Road bridge to Scioto Chase Boulevard.
Roundabout Information:
Visit Delaware County’s roundabout information page for more information.

All remaining work will be done while maintaining traffic.
Project Schedule
Construction will run from August 2013 to October 2014, with no construction during winter months. All roads will be open to traffic when work is not underway.
Estimated Project Cost
The estimated construction cost of the project is $4.8 million. The project is funded through a combination of federal Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funding provided by the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, and Delaware County Road and Bridge funds.
