UPDATE (9/15): The Crossing Closures are now Scheduled to begin on Monday (9/21). The dates shown are updated below:
The contractor for Norfolk Southern Railroad will be repairing railroad crossings from 9/14 thru 9/25. During construction, the railroad crossing will be Closed to all Traffic.
Each crossing is expected to be closed for approximately 1–2 days, and the work is weather dependent.
Work Schedule:
The contractor will address the crossings in the order listed below, moving from south to north. Work will begin at the E. Orange Road Crossing on September 14th.
Orange Township
- E. Orange Road —UPDATE: from 9/21 thru 9/23 – First closure begins September 14th to September 16th. [Detour]
- Shanahan Road — UPDATE: From 9/22 thru 9/24 – Tentative Closure September 15th to September 17th [Detour]
- Berlin Township
- Cheshire Road – UPDATE: from 9/23 thru 9/25 – Tentative Closure September 16th to September 18th. [Detour]
- Berlin Station Road – UPDATE: 9/28 thru 9/30 – Tentative Closure September 21st to September 23rd. [Detour]
Troy Township
- Penry Road – UPDDATE: 9/30 thru 10/2 – Tentative Closure September 23rd to September 25th. [Detour]
- Troutman Road – UPDATE: 9/30 thru 10/2 – Tentative Closure September 23rd to September 25th. [Detour]
Important Information:
- No traffic will be permitted to cross the railroad tracks while work is underway.
- Each crossing closure is expected to last approximately 1 to 2 days.
- All work is weather dependent, so the dates may change.
