A public information meeting will be held from 5-7 pm on November 13, 2014 at Westerville North High School regarding proposed improvements to Sunbury Road from County Line (Smothers) Road to Maxtown Road. Click here for more information.
06-13-14: 2014 Road Improvement Program to Begin Week of June 16:
Work will begin the week of June 16 on pavement repairs and resurfacing on various county and township roads in Delaware County. The first phase of work will include pavement repairs on several different roads. A project schedule will be available on the project web page showing the dates when work is to be done. Be aware that weather delays may change the dates slightly.
06-06-14: Africa Road to Close North of Big Walnut Road for 30 Days Starting June 9
Africa Road north of Big Walnut Road will close starting June 9 as part of a $1.6 million project to reconstruct the intersection of Africa Road, Lewis Center Road and Big Walnut Road. The improvement will add turn lanes and a traffic signal. After Africa Road reopens, the next phase of work will involve a 30 day closure of Big Walnut Road east of the intersection. The rest of the project will be built while maintaining through traffic.
5-30-2014: Home Road to Close East of SR 257 for 75 Days Beginning June 3:
The intersection of Home Road and Section Line Road will close for 75 days beginning June 3. This work is part of the project to construct two new modern roundabouts at the intersections of Home Road with SR 257 and Section Line Road. SR 257 will remain open as will the Home Road bridge over the O’Shaughnessy Reservoir.
04-30-2014: South Section Line Road to Close May 5 Between US 36 and Pittsburgh Drive for 8 weeks:
South Section Line Road will be closed beginning May 5 for 8 weeks for replacement of a bridge just north of Pittsburgh Drive. The posted detour route uses U.S. 36 to S.R. 257 to U.S. 42, and the reverse.
03-06-2014: Powell Road to Close March 17 for 60 days:
State Route 750 (Powell Road) will be closed west of SR 315 beginning March 17 for the second and final phase of the project to improve this intersection. Contact ODOT District 6 at 740.833.8268 or by email at d06.pio@dot.state.oh.us for more info.
01-27-2014: Public Meeting for Worthington Road & Big Walnut Intersection Scheduled for March 4:
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 4 from 4 to 7 pm to present information about planned improvements to the intersection of Worthington Road and Big Walnut Road. The open house format meeting will be held at the Genoa Township Hall, 6111 South Old 3C Highway, Westerville, Ohio 43082.
